Biography

After earning M.Sc. degrees in Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, I completed my PhD in Energy and Process Control (cum laude, extraordinary PhD award) supported by a Training of University Professors (FPU) scholarship. Currently, I work at the University of Oviedo in the Thermal Machines and Engines Area, focusing on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, particularly in Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer. I've collaborated with international R&D centers, including the Sustainable Energy Group at the University of Florence. I lead the "Flexenergy group" to promote energy efficiency and sustainable practices. I'm fluent in five languages and have received some awards, such as "Industrial Efficiency" and a TalentUO Award. I am accredited as Associate Professor by ANECA.
