Abstract:
This project proposes the use of Flipped Classroom and Project-Based Learning pedagogical approaches for the study of Thermoeconomics. In order to maximize the assimilation of content, the professor created audiovisual materials for the theoretical part. Students dedicated hours of personal homework to visualize the materials created and face-to-face classes were used for: resolution of problems and doubts, exhibition of works and discussion of scientific articles. This approach makes the student pivoting from passive subject and become the center of the learning, being responsible for time management and generating materials instead of consuming them. The objective of this methodology is to create a more participatory environment, with a practical approach, which improves the skills and competences of the students in order to their training for their incorporation into the labor market.
