Resumen:
Recently, the global energy sector is facing a dual challenge represented by the increasing energy consumption and fewer emissions demand. This results in an unavoidable change in the energy scenario. The increasing prices of fossil fuels and the consistent need for a cleaner and more efficient energy sources have triggered these challenges urging governments to invest relevant resources to find alternative energy sources. Global energy consumption across the past two decades has seen a strong deployment of renewable energy. This has forced the traditional electrical network to undergo significant changes due to the need to integrate these resources into the electrical network at distribution level.
