Comparative of different Direct Drive architectures
Publication date:
Abstract:
The increase in usage of electrical propulsion systems in spacecraft has raised the research in methodologies that seek to increase the energy and mass efficiency of such systems. Looking at how Hall Effect thrusters are powered several Direct Drive architectures have been proposed. This papercompares several of them to assess which one would have the better performance.
