Abstract

Museums and science and technology displays aspire to become places of trade, multidisciplinaryand interdisciplinary centers capable of boosting the relations between science,technology, the scientific community, audiences and the museum itself. The public understandingof science studies museums include science and technology museums in their surveysunderstanding them as indicators of the involvement of individuals in a society in mattersrelated to science and technology. The results offered by various opinion polls differ in theresults offered for museums of science and technology. The difference in results could be dueto a lack of consensus in the conception of science and technology museum.
