The research for the detailed engineering design of El Hierro Hydro-Wind Plant was carried out by IDOM, Consulting, Engineering, Architecture, S.A.U., to which the company Gorona del Viento S.A. awarded these services. The project was promoted by Gorona del Viento El Hierro, S.A., with the participation of the Cabildo Insular (60%), Endesa (30%), and the Instituto Tecnológico de Canarias (10%).
