La relación entre la distribución de los yacimientos arqueológicos en general y espe-cíficamente con arte rupestre, y la de las aguas termales y minero-medicinales en la re-gión cantábrica, muestra, por un lado, una conexión significativa y, por otro, un singular vacío de yacimientos de tiempo largo en el centro de Asturias, y entre el río Miera en Cantabria y los Pirineos atlánticos franceses.
