Isis en Plutarco: Interpretación Órfico-Pitagórica

Abstract

Mi propósito en este estudio es profundizar en la obra de Plutarco, Sobre Isis y Osiris, y desvelar la interpretación órfico-dionisíaca de la diosa Isis. Trato de mostrar que Plutarco en la diosa Isis logra, con un discurso cortado, fragmentario y no lineal, una síntesis de elementos órfico-dionisíacos y pitagóricos, con una relectura muy peculiar de la doctrina del último Platón, y llega a formular, por medio de la figura divina de Isis, como intermediaria entre el cosmos y el ser puro y eterno, un monoteísmo compatible con los cultos mistéricos propios del politeísmo del mundo griego y egipcio. My purpose in this study is to deepen the work of Plutarch, on Isis and Osiris, and reveal the Dionysian Orphic interpretation of the goddess Isis. I try to show that Plutarch in the goddess Isis achieved, with a speech cut, fragmentary and non-linear, a synthesis of Orphic Dionysian and Pythagoreans elements, with a very peculiar re-reading of the doctrine of the last Plato, and comes to formulate, through the divine figure of Isis, as an intermediary between the cosmos and the pure and eternal divine, a monotheism compatible with the mystery cults of the polytheism of Egyptian and Greek world.
