Basándose en fuentes documentales inéditas y otras fuentes impresas poco explotadas, se abordan los diversos aspectos del balneario de Panticosa: las aguas termales y su entorno geográfico, la propiedad y el negocio balnearios, la red de comunicaciones, el cuadro de enfermedades y los tratamientos hidroterápicos, las condiciones de acogida, las principales características de la clientela, así como la actividad arquitectónica y la configuración del espacio balneario
