Biografía

Mª Isabel Pérez Ramos earned her PhD from KTH, Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm, Sweden) having been based at the Environmental Humanities Laboratory. Her research focuses on literary representations of environmental injustices, mostly in Chicana/o and US Southwestern literature, including Cli-Fi and cyberpunk narratives. Her articles have been published in academic journals such as IJES, MELUS, Resilience, Environmental Humanities, and Ecozon@. She has conducted research at the University of New Mexico, the King’s College London, the University of California, Berkeley, and Arizona State University. She is a member of the multidisciplinary research groups Intersections (University of Oviedo) and GIECO-Instituto Franklin (UAH), and book review editor of the academic journal Ecozon@.
