Maritxu Alonso is a researcher at the Department of Art History and Musicology at the University of Oviedo, where she is developing her doctoral thesis on punk and feminism. She is part of the "Grupo de Investigación en Música Contemporánea de España y Latinoamérica Diapente XXI" (GIMCEL) and she is attached to the R+D+i Project / Knowledge Generation - "Música y medios audiovisuales en España: creación, mediación y negociación de significados - MusMAE" [MCI-20-PID2019-106479GB-I00].
