This Master's thesis presents an innovative proposal for the development of cultural awareness through the use of audiovisuals, specifically children's TV series, in the context of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in Infant Education. This proposal has been designed for a group of 25 students in the third year of the second cycle of pre-school education, i.e. students aged between 5 and 6 years old, in a state-subsidised school on the outskirts of Oviedo. The centre does not have a bilingual programme in the Infant Education Stage, so the project would be carried out in English lessons. Finally, it should be added that this proposal is innovative for this context because this school does not use audio-visual storytelling in foreign language teaching.
