Sistema de monitorizacion para un nuevo concepto de plataforma offshore.

Sistema de monitorizacion para un nuevo concepto de plataforma offshore.

This master´s thesis will be carried out at Chalmer University of Technology in collaboration with University of Oviedo and SAFIER INGENIERIE S.A.S. Paris. This R&D project will set the basis of a later project of the company that will be developed during the next years inside a macro-project and sold to the clients as an innovative safety service. Nowadays the use of artificial intelligence alows engineers to create intelligent models that can predict the behaviour of structures subjected to certain actions and based on historical data and predict the remaining life of structures. Offshore industry spends millions at periodic inspections of the offshore structures due to the complexity of the operations. The developed service system will allow to reduce physical site inspections to the needed ones, with the consequent reduction of the costs. This make us think that the service will be well accepted by the potential clients. For this master thesis, due to the complexity of the platform and the limitation of time, it will be developed for a simplified model that will predict the structural state under certain loadsand also a way to adapt and coorelate the model to the real behavior. An algorithm schematic procedure will be introduced and stablished for its development in future stages of the project.
