In this master thesis, a sensorless control strategy of a permanent magnet synchronous machine for its application to a hybrid electric vehicle is implemented. An analysis about the bene ts of implementing this kind of control strategy and a study of the most important sensorless control methods that are used nowadays along with the implementation of the di erent control loops that this kind of control strategy implies will be done in order to perform di erent simulations in SIMULINK tool of MATLAB that prove the correct operation of the electric machine under this kind of control. Moreover, some tests will be carried out with the real electric machine to check its real behaviour when it operates under this control strategyspa
