Resumen:
The data protection regulation affects all areas in which personal data is processed and also teaching innovation projects. As far as this work is concerned, the objective is to offer an answer on whether Spanish public universities currently offer information to teachers about the treatment of their personal data in teaching innovation projects. For this, a theoretical and practical study has been carried out. On the one hand, the concepts of teaching innovation and their implementation in teaching innovation projects have been defined to relate them to the concepts, rights and principles contained in the data protection regulations to which all participants have the right to be informed. On the other hand, a search has been carried out through the websites of various Spanish public universities to check if information is offered in the teaching innovation projects on the processing of personal data and, if so, to indicate how it is being carried out. The answer is that there is no uniformity when it comes to reporting on the processing of data in teaching innovation projects and a unification of positions must be committed to when reporting on its treatment.
