Montes de Utilidad Pública de Álava: prospecciones en la Parzonería de Entzia, Zalduondo y Alkoitza

Abstract

This document presents the preliminary results of the first prospecting campaign carried out in 2021 in Álava as part of the Antigone project. It was conducted on Mounts Entzia, Zalduondo and Luzuriagabaso/Alkoitza, with the aim of expanding our knowledge of environmental resource management practices from the 18th century to the present day, as well as their transformation and jurisdictional and social dimension. The initial prospecting revealed the diversity of the landscapes existing in the eastern Álavan mountains and the impact of their different uses on their configuration.
